Nigeria’s biggest reality show, BBNaija is back with a brand new season, and it promises to be filled with undiluted drama
 
The reality TV show will follow the lives of strangers as they interact and compete with each other to win the grand prize of N100 million.

From all indications so far, BBNaija will be different from all other previous editions and you can’t afford to miss out on all the suspense, drama, romance and fun.

Speaking on the relaunch of the new season of BBNaija, Busola Tejumola; the Executive head of Content of Multichoice Nigeria made some important announcements about Big Brother Naija Season 7.


 
Here’s everything you need to know about the new season of BBNaija reality tv show.

1. BBNaija Season 7 will premiere with a double launch on Saturday, 23rd July 2022 and Sunday 24th July 2022 by 7 pm (GMT+1) on the Africa Magic Channel – Showcase, Urban and Family.

2. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returning as the host of BBNaija 2022 making it his 6th consecutive season of hosting the reality tv show
The show will run for 72 days as housemates compete for the grand prize. It will end on Sunday, October 3, 2021

3. Over the past five seasons, the winner’s prize has always been huge, but the pay-out for this season is even bigger than we have seen before. The winner of this year’s edition will walk away with N100 million worth of prizes. They’ll get 50 million Naira in cash and 50 million Naira worth of other gifts, including an SUV, a house, trips, and other goodies from sponsors.

4. The Ninjas are back – Yes the notorious BBNinja’s will be back for this season and we can’t wait to see what antics and gimmick they have under their sleeves.

5. For the seventh season, the show will witness the return of live studio audience which was halted in 2019 due to Covid-19

6. 30 BBNaija fans will also win 1 million Naira each in the Fave Lock-In promo exclusive to DStv & GOtv customers.

7.BBNaija season 7 will run 24/7 on DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Confam and Yanga packages on channel 198 and on GOtv Max and Jolli packages on channel 29.

8. BBNaija fans across Africa and the United Kingdom will also be able to watch the show live 24/7 show via the online streaming service, Showmax.

9. The show will also retain its voting style from last year. Voting will only be on the Big Brother Naija website, Voting poll, mobile site, and the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps for active customers.
